On, Jason Davis’ fans weigh in on the dispute with Jobster.
Morningstar on one of the reasons Starbucks has an edge over competitors: “The company also boasts a very motivated workforce. Starbucks offers its employees an attractive pay package, which includes stock options and health benefits, and ample opportunities for advancement. Legal Fight Over a Blog Site

Jason Davis says Jason Goldberg of Jobster wants shut down.
The Las Vegas Sands is hiring 4,000 people for a new hotel-casino next to the Venetian. It’ll be called the Palazzo. All added up (operations, administrative jobs, games, food, and so on … all the jobs), the Sands expects about 50,000 job applications.
Wild Oats has Korn/Ferry looking for a CEO. Wild Oats also needs a CFO.

Hot topics of conversation around the hallways and over drinks at the Fordyce Forum include the rapid growth of the recruiting industry in China; the strong economy (more business than they can handle, people say); the challenges in finding good recruiters to hire; trouble finding customizable technology to manage both candidates and other contacts; the rudeness (people not returning calls and e-mails) of our society today; and the positive vibe/optimism of New Orleans.
